She's ready to go...........6s 2p. Got four 5000 40c 3s batts from the Hobbyking USA warehouse. 67 hours to my door from hitting the "place order" button.............16 bucks for shipping. I may use the USA warehouse as much as i can based on whats in stock there.

Two of the batts fit right up underneath the edge of the deck.......COG is at 30%.......

Gonna take her out in the next day or two.

Thanks cat and scott.....................yep x445, i have learned the hard way to start out where i feel comfortable............seems to be working fine, but it can handle a tad more. I am not one to max out my systems cuz im not racing and lean towards cooler, more trouble free running. I think an x447/x448 may be the sweet spot.

I think a 447 no problem. After that work's slap a 645 on there and see what happens!

Can't wait to see it in action. Those motors are proving to be a real power house! Check out the video section a member has a 23lb twin cat running those on 6s and it's killer!

I think that motor will handle waay more prop than you think. But you are doing the right thing by taking it slow. Props testing can get expensive if you start out too small though. I run a 648 and 452 in my 40 w/leopard 5692 and it doesn't even break a sweat! Lookin good!!
