here we folks,took me longer than anticipated,fully glass clothed the hull and got it rubbed down then a final coat of sealer,but got a bit further on the cowl,its now in primer awaiting marker coat.





all i gotta do now is final smoothing off the sealer and she ready for primer

Looks really cool from the side. Different lines than normal. Anxious to see what it looks like with some paint!

thanks bud,will keep you posted on this thread on how i get in,but weather getting worse here at mo so maybe a while.
As for weight not sure yet.but i will put it together shortly and let you know

How you getting on with yours now

Iv put it all together and weighed it.
With the motor and leg on,4s 1p 5000 mah lipo,200 amp esc,and heavy duty brass geared 15kg servo all in,the weight is 6lb,7oz

That's about the same as my Stiletto ready to go on 4S.. 6.5lbs and some change... Thanks

No worries,thinking of doing some 5s runs aswell lol.
actually considering this is an all wood build and slightly biggers thats not bad at all.

managed to get it in primer and marker coat today.

just gotta wait for it to fully harden,spotted a couple of bits im not happy with so will sort these out and wet sand with 800g for a super smooth finish before topcoat colours.
