    Plugging holes

I just got a ProBoat Formula Hydro Hull off the swap shop from blackcat26 and am looking to do my first build.

I'm looking to do an adjustable strut and different rudder set up. So I wont be using any of the stock pre- drilled holes on the hull. Anyone have a recommendation for the best way to go about filling these in?

Bare with me, this is my first build, I am a quick learner, but I will still be asking A LOT of dumb questions in the process.

Put some masking tape over the holes on the outside of the hull and then use epoxy on the inside to flow into the holes. After it sets up remove the tape and give it a light sanding.

I do the exact thing Egneg said, but I add 406 Silica from West Marine intot he mix. It will thicken up the epoxy and turn it white. Goes in more like a paste than a thick liquid. The silica also makes it more structurally sound than straight epoxy. On smaller holes it really doesnt matter. Once I started using teh silica, I got addicted to it. I use it constantly now. I see your in Fl, hit up a West marine. Its about 15 dollars if I remember for a can of it. the can will feel empty. Super light weight stuff and it will last forever if your just plugging holes and what not.

Diegoboy had a good idea of mixing a couple drops of colored paint in the epoxy to match the hull color. I tried it and it works great!
