    Larrys Drifter L Re-Re-build

I bought my Drifter this past spring, but had problems with it pulling to the right. After some advise,I made a few adjustments, put in a new Leopard 4082 1500kv motor on 6s with a Turnigy 180 esc with a CC BEC with an X445 prop.Ran today and went 62.6 mph.Not bad for another new maiden voyage.Everything was very cool to the touch.I did a finger test on the shaft at the endbell and no heat what so ever.I know I can prop up and get more.Im looking at 70 for a new speed goal.(1st pic is of 3 of my hulls, but the Drifter is on the left.I dont have a lone pic of it yet).

Just a hair under 37".I just say it is 37" because I forget the exact length. It doesnt turn worth a damn, but I guess it would make a good SAW boat. Its alot of fun though.Next step besides tuning and propping is paint!!

I thought it ran very good today.

Pretty impressed with the leopard motor too.

Im impressed too.Id like to find a 4082 in a 1700kv if its made.Get a little more rpm out of it.Made my parallel connector tonight.Im gonna run my 2 6s 4000mah next weekend with a 648 and X447 props.Maybe add a little weight also.
