ehm, maybe a silly question, but...

does the motor have to be on top ?
Is it allowed to have the transmission beside/along the motor ?

btw : i deleted my previous question ( the one on which you replied ) because i had a brainfart. I thought the motor was at the other side of the transmission.

Your exertise suggestons are areciated and yes that sounds like a logical idea.
I am a firm believer in using weight to counteract torque rock as well as ro walk in monos.

What ratio is the tranny? I really dig this little CF mono.
I may have to set up my little sniper for some SAW runs in the spring.

have you been going to the bathroom a lot?

You seem to have lost all your P!

Interesting build, looks fun. It is nice to watch you guys who have others to run with get together and build stuff. I enjoy building, but no one to run with locally around Fort Wayne. Used to be a club here, but lost thier pond years ago...

I think this is right, it looked like it was updated from the last SAW.

                    N-1 Mono Wilmer Oxidean Oct-10 6.902 32.559 Novack BBY Racing Octura 435/3

N1 hydro is more impressive to me but there is a lot of drag in a mono

If it did not take one to two hours to get any place in a town in Texas it would be easier.

That place is real spread out.

Randy, is this like the one you made for Dennis years ago? That thing was 4.5oz bare if I remember correctly. With Wilmers N1 experience he should be able to make that a runner.

Jay has had pretty good results with a gear drive too.

I've got one of Dennis's now
I had a REAL nice fiberglass one Dennis joined years ago, but it was sacraficed to Heather Farms.

I might go into the sho after having my teeth cleaned.

Kelly and Dennis crashed at CAFE. I thought Dennis was going to cry. Opened up like a clam. Of course no floatation in there. DOH! We never saw that particular OM again.

Yeah, the fiberglass one he joined did the same to me. that Dennis was one HECK of a boater though!

I'm STILL runnin' off the formula he taught me.

Yes only lighter I have made 3 Oz OM21. You would have loved to have watched Wilmer's hang time when he had no power (N1 brushed) in the OM21 he would walk on the tail of the transom to remove the drag!
