    Woodstuff 40" and 27" SAW tunnels-Updated pics

Well, the SAW event is about 3 weekends away, and I am finally close to finishing 2 new SAW tunnels to go with the other tunnel already done. These are the 40" S and T powered tunnel, and a modified from 28" down to 27" N powered tunnel. I will also be trying to up my current Q record with my 36" Woodstuff tunnel. The 40" is now done and ready for testing. You will notice the carbon fiber top decking to help it endure a blow off at 70-80mph, and it looks pretty cool! The 27" is close to done. A little more radio box work, and a hull paint job and it will be ready. Enjoy the pics, Mike

Hey Mike, Is there an other cowlings you can use?

I think you will have much better results, or make it easier to hit 80MPH with a cowl that more closely matches the top of the motor (for air flow).

I know you are working with Mike C but IMO a Vision 40 cowl could be just right? They are a little wider than the dumas 7.5 cowl, but still nice.

            Just stirring some interest :)

Haha, thanks, If it had not broken the 4-40 dubro ball end, I could have gone back and tried again. Oh well, 73mph is pretty cool, even one way! I am regrouping now, and will give 80mph a shot come april. Mike

That's cool Mike. You have the sweetest tunnels I have ever seen. I hope that someday I will have the pleasure of having one of your tunnels on my shelf. Keep it up.
