    Thundercat31 twin

Well dad and I decided to twin the ole TC. Got all the internals stripped out and sanded down. Also slapped some FG inside the canopy since it's pretty weak. Will do CF or CF/Kevlar soon to the insides. Gonna run 6s in her with probably scorpion 3026 1600kv's and see what she'll do.

Okey dokie. Got the ugly look of old fiberglass covered up with some nice carbon/kevlar. Should be a good solid foundation for some speed.

That looks really nice. What did you use to apply the carbon/kevlar?

A light dusting of 3m super77 spray followed buy some good ole fiberglass resin. Came out decent. Not exactly the norm for what people do on here but it will work.

Thanks my friend. I followed your tc31 build closely and am sorry for your loss.

Was thinking about two struts instead of stingers. Obviously less adjustment, but can someone tell me the main pro/cons between struts and stingers?

What about a twin outboard. Two of the Proboat Stiletto units with some potent Feigao's would do nicely thank you...

Struts will give you more adjustment. LEave about 1-1.5" exposed teflon in front of the strut and you can do it nicely. Looking at doing this to my Gieco maybe.

I have never been a big outboard fan. Just the looks I guess. Feigao's might be just a little underpowered for what I'm looking to do. I got some inexpensive outrunners on the way with probably some scorpions to follow. This hull is known for being a little bit of a slug in the speed department so I need to go a little overboard in power.

Jeff, do stingers make the boat more stable and more blowover resistant? That's my impression but not sure if I made it up.

Never heard that and I would not see how it could. I guess they could be considered a ride surface but not sure about that. Look at the cat (german) listed that is smoking fast...same set up...no stingers
