lol. It IS a problem Alpha. Look at what his powertrims are mounted to. It isn't the sponson transoms. The other problem is the price of MHZ powertrims.

ray, the way I can tell is that I've owned poly hulls. It's easy to tell once youve had one. The look, smell, and feel are dead giveaways.

From what i can see, it's just another poly- or vinylester hull.
And that weird "yellowish" colour ??!!
Rumdog : this hull doesn't smell at all ???

Nope. No yellow either. Have you seen one in person?
I will say, I'm no expert in laminates.
I does appear to be an epoxy hull though.
If not, I dont really care. It is strong, light, and well made.

dont wory about the material, a good layed poly hull is just as strong as epoxy (well not really but it is plenty strong for RC). i just got a rico from ritchie, one of the best hulls out there, they are made with polyester resin

Very true. My Rico is the toughest hull I own.

I was just wondering about that colour of the inside.
just the same as the Chinese Agitator-knockoffs.
The overall looks of it is great, i admit :-)
The only thing you need to do : use epoxy to glue things in place, no polyester.

I' ve got HOTR cat and a Genesis, no comparison between those two hulls. I don' t know if it is poly or vinyl but the Genesis is very strong, and the boat have a nice finish. Genesis hull can be can be easily compared with a Hydro Marine hull

I have a Genesis hull from FighterCat also, and believe me,it needs to be reinforced.Ive already reinforced mine, but now,as you Rumdog,am on the search for stingers-and not hi-end units either. If a guy has one of these hulls,do yourself a favor before you start building and reinforce it.It will pay off.

I've got a plan. I'm just waiting on a couple of things.
Plus, it is already freezing up up here. So I'm in no hurry.
