Recieved my hull the other day. The quality far exceeds my expectations. It is an epoxy glass hull. Sharp edges. No weak spots. No waves. Sanded, and ready for paint out of the box! Also got a pair of stingers. They are a bit short. I was going to machine some extensions. Instead, I stayed a little late at work today and made these bad boys. 5.5" long. Drilled for 7/32" brass to accomodate .187" stub and flex. Mounted to the sponson transoms, they will clear the tunnel overhang by about 5/8". They are an exact pair. Still have to make the mounts for the stingers, but that's the easy part. This should be fun! I plan to fab nearly all the hardware and mounts myself for this bad boy. Will be running twin 9xl's seaking 180's, and 5s1p per side.
Genesis bare hull scratch build.

I have been considering that. Really love the looks of that hull. Just not sure if I want to take on another electric boat right now. Love F/E but I am just trying to recover from a couple of bad days at the lake. Gets costly sometimes.

The Genesis hull is a very nice and strong boat, I can compare quality with MHZ Mystic hull, very similar.
IMHO this hull is perfect for a twin setup 2x4S, 2x5S or 2x6S. It' s not necessary to buy hi-end components, a pair of Seaking 120A or 180A, two 540XL motors will work very well. The only problem is to find 10cm/12cm powertrims but TFL Hobby is making those parts they will be available soon.

There are a few problems making it twin though. The sponson transoms, they are FAR from square. I have the stingers you show above. They are way too short. Even if they weren't, once mounted, with them trimmed all the way up, the angle is still very negative. The sponson transoms are kicked back way too far. (not 90 degrees to the tunnel) The stinger that i made aren't going to work either. I machined some mounts, but there just isn't enough room to mount them properly. I have a couple things in mind.Comment

This is not a problem, powertrims are adjustable. Mudl' s Genesis with HPR powertrims. Stability and the sound of twins, Waoooww !!!Attached FilesComment
