Yes i did, that is why i ended up with the 51mm, there were not a lot of carbon prop options for counter rotating props. I plan on getting more sizes after I actually get it running.

36000 RPM unload isn' t too much, looks normal for a catamaran

Alright castle is having issues with me, so i have a 880kv outrunner lying around here, wondering if i could go dual out runners on 8s, or should i just leave it as a single and run 8s? And would a 80a HV esc be enough for 8s or should i get a higher amp rating one? I also have two 1512's so should i go that route now that i have everything for a dual set up here
I am leaning to the single motor just cause it would be a heck of a lot cheaper, i still need two stinger drives and flex shafts for a dual setup.
BTW this is the outrunner i got, i for got why i bought think it was for a truggy i used to have.

This outrunner need 10 cells, 5S in each transom.
With this high voltage the current will be low so if you want a twin you can use 2 x Turnigy 80A HV and 2 x Turnigy T600 880kv

I really want to use the 880kv on 10s in a twin with two of those 80hv esc's!!! And power wise that could get you over 70mph really easily in the genesis and that motor is dirt cheap so it wouldn't be too expensive. Just use 10s on 40c 5ah batts! If I can fit 8s in my surge crusher 10s in that should be cake.
Fleet: 55" Quad inline T600 Cigarette boat, Twin Mean Machine, Twin T600 47" mystery mono, 4082 Surge Crusher, 1717 8s Genesis, 4074 Villain, "mini mono", 52" Bonzi, Prather Funcruiser, 2 DPI 3.5cc tunnels, 5' Styrofoam recover barge

I am gonna order another motor, and 2 esc's gonna run 2 5s packs and wire them way the diagram posted earlier showed. I do not plan on having long run times with this, but the alternative ways of getting 10s would weigh too much and i would have nothing but an expensive submarine. now i need wait for all the parts to get here, also got to order some new couplers, mounts, and some more propellers.
This boat is costing me alot more than i planned at first lol.
Should be worth it when it all comes together though.

i did not go dual brush less, i am running a single a castle 1520, ran it today and a few days ago as well, here are some videos
i would recommend muting this one, my dog was going crazy.

this day it was choppy out

both runs were on 5s2p, i may keep it on 5s for now, it has good run times with low heat, it is running a 42mm carbon prop too.
