I am running the H&M viper on the stock SV setup with an Octura X442 on 12 cells and it is fast. I am very pleased with run time and temps on all components.

              Classic Hydros

A great choice for that motor is the Classic Hydros.com Vintage shovell. The hull has held and I think still holds an oval speed record in LSH. I have one with the SV power in it. Have not ran it yet but a few guys I run with have the same set up and they run very well. This is a very inexpensive set up. And reliable.

Performance is great. I lost a turn fin last week and it was a Fullers carbon fin that they dont make anymore so I just installed a grim and I am still tweaking it. Everything else came from fine design. The boat handles very well with this setup. I will try to post some pics tonight.

Here's a vid of a H&M Lifter that I have. vid shows it running a Nemisis motor which is close to a SV motor or 14xl. I ran it once with sv electrics and had the same speeds as in the vid.:D The viper and Lifter are about the same size.
