Do you have a pillar drill? If so you can drill through the 4mm stubshaft just aft of the strut, insert a dowel pin or roll pin in the hole and use that as a dog drive, 3/16 OD K&S tube has an ID of 4mm which may get you running 3/16ths dog drive props, there are 2 things you need to check first though, first is the length of the stub as some 4mm threaded shafts are long for threaded props held on by nuts and should work and some are short to jam inside Graupner props and these aren't long enough reach right through a dog drive prop to fit a nut on the back, you will also need to try the tube over the threads to check that it the threads were cut to the full 4mm rather than undersize allowing the 3/16 tube to wobble about on it.

I found a bearing house near where I work and ordered a set of 3/16 ID 5/16 OD bearings and will give that a go. I really want to keep the 3/16 shaft vs. adapting the 4mm shaft.

If the bearings don't work out, I think I'll cut off the strut tube and install a 3/16 stringer strut.

        Ok, finished her up.

Decided to keep the 4mm shaft, so I replaced the 4mm/8mm bearings.

So here she is, fiegao 380 10xl, recycled proboat fastech esc, 5000mah 3S1P. Motor/ESC running nice and cool, good speed for the hull size:

Edit-- the 5000 packs are a little much. Dropped down to 2600mah and I still get 4-5 min runtime. Boat is happier with less weight.

How many cells? Mono1s typically run 280g packs which is around 5000-6300 2s or 3300-4500 in 3s. i have 4500 3s in mine but it migt change to 5800 2s this season as I am tempted to swap its power system with my Hydro1
