Sailr Jims 8255 1/10th Scale '85 Coors Light framing kit!

Just wanted to share these pics with everyone, especially Jim so his builder has some reference to properly framing up this kit. His kit includes the framing, batten sticks, and sheeting pieces! Enjoy! Oh, you can see the size difference of the 1/8th scale 8255 in the background!

Mike! I just noticed MAJOR problems with this kit! Tub is offset the wrong way. 1/10 scales turn left. Driveline must be offset to the left....the opposite of 1/8th scalers which turn right. The severe offset of the 'tub' on this kit will create problems. The COG longitudinally will also be off. The weight of the batteries will be on the wrong side of the boat. It'll never make it through a turn without flipping to the outside. Sorry! We gotta go back to the drawing board on this one. Please don't ship the kit to my builder. Hebner just called me to alert me to the same problem.

Yep, this one is flipable. Future 1/10th scale frames I will make sure the buyer let's me know how they want it setup! No biggie! Mike

Well, things seem to change all the time with me and my projects! Unfortunately, I am now not going to be able to proceed with this project. I will be putting the kit in the swap shop if nobody here wants to pick it up. It is an absolutely beautiful kit! Mike did a fabulous job of scaling, doing the cad, and getting the laser work done!

Price: $220 shipped in the U.S.
