FE SV27 with 6cell lipo bulid

This my first build of a FE boat. Just got this hull and BJ motor of OSE swap shop.
The wood around motor mount was in bad shape. Out came the wood . Now Thinking about lining the hull with fiberglass or carbon cloth. More to come.

What motor for 6s?.......sounds like fun!

Not shore what to run. Do you think the proboat BJ motor hold 6cell.

It will work, but start with a small prop, and watch temps!

What size prop would you start with?

If you decide to put anything on the bottom I'd put carbon otherwise it's not worth the effort. From my experience the best place to reinforce is the inside sides of the hull where it was joined. I've seen more than a few split there with high power when they crash and SV27's tend to crash pretty often.

Why 6s? I run my sv27 on 4s2p with a leopard 4074 and it looks about like its gonna sink when its sitting still. 6s is a lot of weight and not enough room to get a decent mah. Ive ran mine on 6s before for saw type runs with a 9XL and 1515-1y, but honestly its to fast for the hull even on 4s with the 2200kv leopard.
