I could be totally wrong about price of hull im sure it cost more than that i was just justifying the trade. If the hull is more all the better to you right? If you go to www.modelpowerboats.com they have great info on gas engines as well as great info on props and hull set up. Look them up. If its worth 800 though why would he give you 475 on top of it??????? but maybe he wants that chopper bad. I know I want one bad.I agree with smock you could have great fun with gas too.

I was going to get one from forabuck to do a big twin brushless but then backed out because I've hearded mixed opinions about this hull

Two of our club members have these boats and run in our "Open Cat" class, both are powered by LMTs and one has been gps'd at 58.6 Mph and is remarkably stable. The GPS run was in 5 inch chop and it didn't bother it at all.

It weighs about as much as Smock though.

I hope after some mod's I can get more than 60mph out of it. I'm thinking twin"s modded end to end will get 80 or better out of it??
