I am not exactly sure what you are doing with these wooden wedges but my suggestion is to cut them by whatevers means, bandsaw if needed and then block sand them to be identical.

There are ways to blocksand or longboard that is similar to the metalwork version of drawfiling that will produce wedges of great accuracy especially when working with hard wood.

    Funny how I know this

Shoot me a PM or EM if you need more.
    See it....find the photos.....sketch it it....build it........with wood

Cut them from one block that's twice as big as it needs to be. Sand the primary surfaces. Then slice it in half. Two blocks, with a left and right.

        Bondo

What about making them from bondo? Take two aluminum or metal plates. Sand them smooth or polish them and wax the for release. Calculate out of the angle you need. Tangent of angle = (pin diameter) / X

Then lay a glob of bondo down and squish it between the two plates. When it kicks off, pry the two plates apart, take the bondo wedge off and cut it to the sizes you need.

        Simple little trick.

What are the dimensions and angles you need?

I use Bass wood for my shoes. It is a little hard to find in 5/8 thick but if you can find it, it is light and strong. I hope this what you are looking for.

I cut two and hold it together and sand on the belt sander to make match.

guys, thanks for your inputs, this gave me an option I have not use yet... duh!
the wedges are for the sponsons, I want a few different heights (angles)
to assure the proper angle will be used... I think this is the way I'll go...

Use a table saw with a new sharp blade. This will get thin edge paper thin. You can buy a cheap table for under $100.00. A block of Bass wood cost under $10.00 @Tower
