    New HOR Semi-Scale Pickle

Just got this in the mail last week. A little over 30 inches, very deep. No Gel Coat, appears to be a very smooth primer. Sponsons are dead flat. Should be an interesting build. Have a few things to clean up prior to starting the build, will post progress in the next several weeks. Overall, a very nice hull.

    All the best,

    Ray

It sure looks better in your pics than it does on the HoR site. Do you have any pics of the underside? Feel free to post lots more pics. I'm bored as heck!

Dead flat as in no dihedral or anhedral?

            Jim,

1" ride pads (very sharp edges) with no dihedral.

Will they never learn how to make a tape-able hatch?

That's much easier than having to build a sub hatch......

That was my very first thought when I looked at the pics...

I will be interested in seeing how this hull runs. My first impression of the hull bottom makes me think it's going to pack a lot of air....

How do you plan to power it? P or P-Limited?

                      It will be a P-Limited.

What motor are you planning? It sure looks pretty, could you show some pics of the hatch not installed top and bottom?

Nice pics, thanks. I've been looking at that for some time!

Is it heavy or really light? Just curiois of the weight. Dont want it too light or to be a brick either... Looks nice.

So, a Ul-1 or the other AQ 1800KV motor? I might go for a 1800Kv motor instead in my whip or if i ever snag one of these. Turn a bigger prop with less KV but, might not have the top end???
