I have a bigger rudder blade setup coming in a day or so to keep it planted better in the turns. Really handles chop well with some hip-shake but doesn't get too upset. Will vid once dialed in a little better.

                    new rudder

Well it turned out that my home-made "no-bendum" rudder bracket was getting twisted from some full-throttle turns - One thing I insist on is good turning at speed; Sooo... Witness the "Super No-Bendum " Mark II Big Speedmaster rudder setup. Had to machine it some to get it to clear the trim tab. Inserted a 3/8" aluminum tube for the pushrod bellows. Shortened the rudder bottom some & installed the dual pickup plumbing. Added a 180 oz/in EXI servo [from Hobby Partz-$ 14.70 - all metal gear, centers perfectly, not bad for @ fifteen bucks]. Will report this weekend how it does.

Hope this one don't bend! Isn't it supposed to have 3 holes drilled in it somewhere though??

Nope, had enough reminders of my ex-wife.

                            Nice boat!

You MIGHT find out that it'll handle better if you get the prop closer to the transom. We shorten our Speedmaster struts up until the thinner portion is only about 1/2" or so beyond the step up.
Right you are !!! My DF33 didn't need the mod, but this boat's happier with the shortened stinger.

Tony, what is the length of your stinger from the transom to the end before the drive dog, after the mod? Thanks

I cut 18mm off the end. Just felt like the right length to chop off. Works good.
