    broken wrist

    went out for my 2 mile walk tueday pm - rolled my ankle and broke my wrist. going in for surgery today in afternoon - I guess i did a good job 2places are broken! can we say pins plates & screws!

    hey just like when we build boats! wife said something about a servo install so she can make me clean the house! WTF!!!!!!!!!!!

    F1 when i get a little mobility in my wrist i get those measurements you asked for!

    supposed to leave for vacation on Sanibel island on tuesday .... wonder if i'm going!

        Ouch. I have several dozen screws and a few plates from motorcycle crashes. It's taken years for the ankle to reach "normal".

        Sorry to hear. The only recommendation I have is to take your time healing. It's a very slow process and the only thing you can control is making it slower by over doing it.

          Man, that was a tough walk! I bet the wrist heals before the ankle. I rolled my ankle in april of 09 playing bball with the boys and still have issues.

            Ankle and wrist injuries are tough to get over but wish you a speedy recovery!

              yea i spent over 20 years doing martial arts and full contact fighting for awhile.
              worst i got was a broken nose and a few sprains.
              walking over to next door one night tripped on some wire (was dark) broke my wrist,cracked a few ribs
              that walking is dangerous

                well the count is 4 pins total no screws, no plates - just enough to set the alarms off at the airport!

                with the way my wrist is pinned, immobilized and wrapped --- no boat driving for me!
