        You could do either one, but this hull is very strong and is the best one made by NQD. I know of no one who has put fiberglass or cf in it to strengthen it because all it would do is add weight. But you decide when you get it.

        4s would be too much for the setup and cause the drive to cavitate.

          i ment 4s wit a lower kv motor. less amps so less heat on them small motors... they dont have much mass to heat up.id jus run x2 2s packs in series

              x2 2s packs in series= smaller than x2 3s in parrell. i just wonder would the lower amps by going to 4s give better performance and runtime than the extra mah in the 3s2p setup

                finally got the boat in on thursday. ran it stock a few times in the pool before i tore it all apart and and started painting it.

                placed my order from hobbycity this weekend hopefully it will be here this week and i can get this baby running.
