i thought the same its enclosed in a plastic housing watercooled and it spins also
the housing is designed to look like a v10 motor real clean install by thunder tiger

If it's an outrunner, they put out a lot more torque and can swing a bigger prop.

just finished sealing inside added tygon 1/8 tuebing billett water outlet , billet water inlet nipple floation foam tubes gonna try to put in water this weekend if the weather holds........

motor is brushless outrunner, people are over proping thease bad
4s battery is in 5000mah 30c with 225s prop

cooling system for the outlaw esc and motor i came up with

mini frozen gell packs are put under and on top of x-large cooling plate
black plastic lid snaps on
boat under way circulates chilled water through esc and motor
will try to get some tests soon...........
