Joes service is awesome also. Four days from order to my doorstep to Hawaii. I opted to get all the hardware from zipkits also for a one stop shop to save on shipping.
Over 40 years as a carpenter hope I can keep it square. What hardware are you useing? Ron

I'm using all the zipkit stuff. You can find it on their web site. Good luck with your build!

Ron, I am using the Zippkits rudder and Jim Mamaril's strut (just like the one peice Zipp strut)...He does very good machine work...If you want one of these, I will give you his contact...

Here's a pic of the strut (the one with machined holes is for the FE...the other is for the .12) and a couple of my JAE...

Ron I believe the price is still the same...$25.00 for the strut and $3.00 to have the bearing pressed in (worth it)....$28.00 total shipped to you....

I beleive you can find him (Jim Mamaril) on this site. If not, he is on IW site.

Let me know if you have any problems contacting him. You can tell him that I referred you to him...

Thanks Man! Are you a member of International Waters Forum? If not, you should be. I like this site just as much, but there are guys on there that are able to make you some pretty cool stuff for the JAE!!

The stand IS sweet, Thanks! I got it from Joe Scarpino (aka Jjscarpino on IW site)...

The prop I am running is a custom ABC H-7 from Mark Sholund (Props4U - IW site also)...

The boat runs in the mid 50's to 60. I am running the UL-1/ ESC Setup to be able to run heats in Dist. 12 IMPBA B- Hydro class - P Spec. With that setup it runs excellent and should be more than what you need (unless you are planning to run SAW's (straight line racing). Also running Hyperion G3 4S 5000 lipos (RCLipos.com)...Pat is an awesome guy and will treat you well!!!!!!!

Nice! Remy is a great guy! I have been to Aeromarine a number of times here in Seaford, DE. I bought a few boats/hardware from him. He has one of the best gelcoat finishes out there!

By the way, I just wanted to let you know that the stock JAE turn fin is too flexible for my liking (IMO) so I had Mike Hughes (also from the IW site) make me a much stiffer one that will work much better. Are you a member on IW?

I run a 36mm XL size motor and it only just fits keeping a smooth curve in the flexshaft, to run a 1515 you would have to either build from plans and make the tub a little deeper, lay the motor down almost flat and have an S bend in the flex or make a bubble for the top so you can have the back end of the motor sticking up out of the tub.
