Strut advice - Miss Bud conversion

I've got my straight shaft ripped out and am looking to replace it with an adjustable strut flex shaft. I have a Proboat stock flex cable on hand already (I think it's .150), as well as a Feigao 8XL. I'm trying to figure out what is the best combo to use. Does this look right?

    Strut: http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...rod=oct-struts

    Bracket: http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...=oct-oc4sbbr-a

    Coupler: http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...ct-ocfhe5mm15S

I've also got some brass tube that I'll be using to build up the driveline, but the flex liner that I got fits too loosely in the 1/4", but not at all in the 3/16". Any suggestions on that?

I'm taking pictures as I go, I'll start up a thread on it soon.

Steve probably has a better strut than that. You do not need a skeg version on a hydro. Those are pretty light struts. You want an offset rudder from the strut. The solinger is pretty nice but I see he is out. Etti also makes a nice set up perfect for your hydro... Steven can get you that as a Etti dealer.
