miss vegas deuce FE questions?

hey guys i just bought a miss vegas deuce and before ripping everything out i wanted to ask a few questions,
i have done some research but not tons anyhow im going to be running a 2250 kv motor on 4s 5000 mah 50c 240 amp esc and just wondering what prop to start with? i seen a conversion where a wire drive was used? do i have to do this or can i run whats in the stock hull ? any info would be greatly appreciated thanks

I would try a X642 - seems like a magic number for me on hydros this size
I would try stock, but most likely would switch to .078" wire with bearingized strut - Jeff Wohlt style. It is just amazing how little resistance there is, plus the reduced stuffing tube is nice too.

post up some pics of what you are working with, I would like to see what you have, plus we can help better that way.
