    2 pac clear alternative

Hey guys looking for a high gloss, hard clear. I know 2 pack is the goods but not the best to spray at home. Does any one know of any thing that comes close in 1 pack ?? I am looking to get that wet/mirror look finish that 2P gives you with out the hassle.
    Cheers

The only thing I've tried besides 2 part acrylics in a two part urethane clear, used for real boats. The advantage is that it is self leveling, so can be brushed on. A couple of layers with sanding in between will be ok. See a picture of my baby bootlegger. It is urethane clear over glass mat (over the wood).

Ps that's not a very good picture, but it's the only one I have in the office...

        Andy,

There's a good painting procedure using cans given here -

Remember, the two part paints are DEADLY if you don't wear the proper filter mask!

Correct. for the acrylic you also need a high pressure pistol (usually 4bar), and a high flowrate... better do it outside if you do not have a very good ventilation in the shop, otherwise everything will be sticky for some time (don't ask me how I know...)
