Hey guys,
Just thought i would post some pics of a couple of my boats.
The orange one is a jae 21 nitro that i decided to make FE. (my first FE). The blue one is a scratch built Keps 21.
I like to manufactue my own hardware (much cheeper). I will be converting the Keps to FE soon, it is a very fast boat, with a rossi 21 it will hit 78 mph. I plan to put a nue 1515 1y with a etti 150 ESC... should be a bullet.
Any thoughts on the motor/ESC choice? Love to read them.

Please share how you made the hardware!!! Specifically the wedge rudder...

I'm guessing an end mill with a nice angle vice? What did you use for a bushing?

Hey,
The rudder was made with an endmill, and i tilt the head of the mill. this way it is very easy to keep it even by doing it on the turnover and milling to the same number.
The bushing in the strut is brass that is pressed in and then drilled,and reamed to 3/16 in that case. The same with the bushing in the rudder. I have since added water pickups to any rudder i now make. At the time that one was made i couldent get a long series drill in time so i just added a pickup.
