Contoured rubber pieces under stuff tube to deaden vibration? Dumb idea?

I cut 2 pieces of rubber and shaped them to fit under the stuff tube to act as a vibration deadener. Just tacked them in place with "zap a gap" CA. I guess we'll see if it does anything. Any other hull quieting tricks you guys know of?

Other than putting tape over her mouth. Not really. I have filled a boat full of pool noodles to hope to quiet it down but it just seems like the prop noise along with any drive vibration is there to stay.

Oh, Hull quiting tricks. Oops I thought it said something else:)
