Need opinions on best RTR or close, larger FE deep V. (instead of KOS P1)

Sorry if this isn't the place to post this, but my only boating friend has been waiting for the KOS P1, and it looks like it will be a while before it shows up and it may be a POS P1..?? Anyway. I'm building the Titan 33 FE and want him to get something kinda close since we'll be running together, but I'm only seeing super v 27, formula fastek ect.... He doesn't wana go over $500 and wants a larger deep V, as close to 30-35" as possible. Suggestions??? Mine will be back from the body shop wednesday and then I'll have it built in about anoth week or so, and need someone to boat with. What should I tell him to get?
