    Linkage question

What are you all using for your linkage for steering? Is there any product I may be able to find at a hardware store I could use? The closest hobby store is 1 and a half hours away.

    Thanks

.078" piano wire, a vise and some good needle nose pliers. At the rudder end, the Dubro quick grip EZ connectors really are the pigs oink. You kinda do need a hobby shop or mail order access for the more elegant solutions.

If you are not finding a solution, pm me your address I send you two (one for servo one for rudder).

I like to use the 321 SS wire that I get from work. Its .092 and stiff as all get up. But I have used that LHS SS push rod stuff you mention and that can work. And there are so many options, Like this; http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXK099&P=0

        And this: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXD876&P=0

        These are awesome too;http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXD906&P=0

I prefer stainless 100% for my linkage's. No rust ever.

Make or buy your self a "Z" bender. You only need one end to have adjustment. http://www.airfieldmodels.com/inform...nd_z-bends.htm

why not? Like John's great set of links shows, there are many options. I don't care for the push rod sets cause I like to have adjustability at both ends. In the end its whatever makes you smile!

The ball links and threaded rod will make some of the nicest linkages out there.

Especially if you use the EZ connectors. Like the top links in this pic:

They allow you to easily adjust the linkage with infinite precision.
