Thats a nice looking cat there, gonna fly on 6s. My old ABS cat with a 13XL on 6s was crazy fast, only 26" though so a little too small and way to weak for that kind of power. That Drifter will handle it though

If that strut lets go contact me. The new ones I am doing are stronger and they have ceramic bearings in them.

I think you are going to have a hard time keeping it on the water....you motorhead!

The setup you choosed is typical for HM Agitator (830mm). Your cat will fly.
I saw a DrifterS with twin motor and 5S, it was very fast. Have fun with your Drifter

                      Drifter

                      Bigpapa,

I am with Doby, that much rpm on a Feigao could be asking for trouble.
Make sure you watch your temps, no more than a minute on your first run.

You will probably want to keep your COG a little further forward than you would normally since it will probably want to take flight at full tilt.
Also make sure to strap those 6S's down tight, althought it will probably be a fairly tight fit to get them in the sponsons anyway. You definitely don't want them coming loose in a tumble at the speeds that boat will be capable of.

I am running an 8XL on 4S2P (30,800rpm) in my Drifter S on a x642 (roughly 62mph) and it is on the edge of blow over anytime there is any kind of head wind.

What hardware are you running on it? Is it from H&M? I will be interested to see how well yours turns. I am running the FDM 21EGSRA strudder on mine and lets just say it turns like a SAW boat!
But it maybe that I just need to spend more time trying to learn how to turn it correctly.

I will be watching this thread closely, it looks like a very clean build.
                      Brad
