    Rico Racing 31" FE Mono

Here is my newest addition to my fleet. Wanted to have a great offshore mono. All I can say is the quality of the Rico hull is outstanding! Edges are sharp and virtually no hooks or rockers. I had Richie lay carbon on the floor for me also. I am by far very pleased with the hull.

The boat will be powered by a Feigao 580l with 4s. Hardware is speedmaster with accu-tech trim tabs.

Yes the hull is beautifull and looks very promising. This one is replacing another mono that I could never seem to get running right.

How did your Rico perform with the 580l? Did you have any problems with it?

I only ran it once in the Rico. It was plenty fast, but with my motor mount I couldn't fit the cooling jacket, so the run was really short. It was a replacement motor for one that de-magged. Seems there have been a few of these de-magging for no apparent reason. I hope yours hold up well though.

Thanks for the heads up. Hopefully she goes okay. I started mounting the hardware today. Waiting on a couple more items. Hope she runs as good as it looks.

Any more pics yet? I was going back and forth between this hull and the titan 33 (or titan 40 which ever you go by). I'd love to see more rear end and internal pics if you get a chance.

The build is at a complete stand still. Still waiting on my motor mount!

Get the Rico. It can handle way more speed!

Shat! I was going to, but I tried calling and couldn't get ahold of anyone, and being a really patient person....I pulled the trigger on the titan.... Oh well, if I don't like it, I'll pull the internals and.....

The Titan 40 is a great hull, just has a ton more lift than the Rico.

Great looking build Mr. Mopar! Your going to want to get rid of some of that rudder though. The Speedmaster 20 hydro rudder is plenty for this hull IME.

The rudder is now trimed to be 2 5/8" below the keel. Thats what was recomended. Does that sound about right? I'm going to put 4" rails in her. Just waiting on the motor mount to see where everything will go.

OshKoshMono. Richie is a little hard to get a hold of. Send him an E-mail. It may take a few days but he always got back to me. I beleive he does this as a side business. All hulls are usually built to order from what I understand. It took a while but definately worth it!
