Is that hull capable of those speeds? It looks a little wide. I think you might catch air. Are you gonna use trim tabs?Maybe a gyro or something.

People use gyros in speed run rc cars too gyros are not exclusive to helis.Remeber just because you dont have experience with something doesnt mean it wont work.

They increase straight line stability in speed run vehicles of all types.

It would be sweet to use a Eagle Tree on this

Always data log if possible. One could also implement thermal monitoring on the motor as well as prop speed with a magnet and hall sensor. I believe eagle has all this stuff.Dude you dont sell Andy Brown props unless youre on crack lol. Buy the other ones but definately run those first . People Ive been dealing with andy since the early 90's all Im gonna tell you is this:They know what the hell theyre doing point blank. Stick with those 457's for now and get you a datalogger like Brushless talked about.

Question; was my theory about twins being able to sport bigger props rite or wrong? I really dont know.

Boats are a little bit different than cars. For water speed runs, rudder deflection adds tremendous drag. I've set enough speed records to know that touching the rudder even a little slows the boat. A gyro would constantly be on or off the rudder trying to maintain a constant heading - definitely not the fastest way through the course.

The fastest SAW runs are those where the boat enters the traps at the correct angle with no touching of the rudder during the pass. Most SAW boats run with a little prop walk to the right, so entering the traps on a line slightly to the left of center will give the highest speeds. GPS racing is the same. Eliminating/minimizing prop walk is one of the secrets of any boat racing.
