    Nice airbrush.

Chuck what kind do you use? I use Iwata's I use the Hi-Line HP-C and the Custom Micron CM-C. The HP-C I use exclusively for food and the CM-C is for hobby/auto use.

Thanks, I bought this one because it was a good price (83 shipped) and I read really good reviews about it, looked like a great starter brush. Now I need a compressor.

I'd really like to build one of those, where did the kit come from?

        Thanks :)

It is made from my dad's plans and we sent them to get lazer cut. Contact peells on this forum.

I plan on working on my cat soon, just havn't had the time or motivation. I had been working on my renegade rigger and that got frusterating with its paint issues, so hopefully I'll get back in the groove soon. Would be nice to have someone to run boats with out here in NC.

              Not much of a update,

Ok, for some reason this didn't end up in the plans.

here you can see I have marked just above the already attached stringers a spot to notch for the stringer to be glued to, as well as the transom is going to be notched for the main stringers and the side stringers.

I sold off the stingers, they were going to be too big, so I think I am going to scratch the idea of running stingers, no one makes them small enough to fit the micro boats, the biggest problem is the mounting bases are too large. So I think I will just go with regular struts, and have Jeff Wholt modify them for BB if possible.

Lend me your thoughts on scorpion out runners vs. feiago 380l's. I can't decide. The out runners sure have a cool factor to them, but no cooling, and making a water cooled motor mount is not easy for me.

How do you think my mystery escs will fare on either motor? Good bad?

Go look at my build you cut that notched end off and glue the transom right to it and it is a lot tougher than you think especially after you resin the inside look at my build the Cat Sctatch feaver one!!

                  Transome cut.

ok, here I actually went backwards, I somehow got a funny warp from my jig, so with some laquer thinner and razor blades, I went to work. word of advice, make sure your jig is 100% first lol.

                    Ok rebuild.

Here is a frame I added clearance for stuff.

Here is how I made the bends for the nose, I think it was easier to do this way, and is prob stronger.

Here I have laminated some carbon fiber cloth to some 1/64 ply and since that was all the cloth I had left, I used fiberglass cloth where the carbon didn't cover, I used my glass desk, some wax paper and a flat board and lots of weight, it turned out ok, I used more then enough epoxy but some how there were some airbubbles hence the dimpled spots. I will fine sand it to size.

Installed, I got carried away sanding tward the nose so the tub floor is about 1/32 narrow in a few spots between the sponsons, used CA glue to fill them.

Some other shots, I sanded the boat edges to match the bulkhead profile, and sanded the bottom sponsons to bulkhead profile, next is to cut out the steps, and more sanding.

Tried to work on it today, but nothing. May throw it in the swap shop for someone else to finish, or let it collect dust till I come and visit.

I'll figure something out. Need to buy the motors, and get a drill press to make some nice mounts and brackets.
