The thrust bearing. It goes between the coupler and the motor mount.

The other is a replacement for the bearings already in the motor. Don't get that.

Go ahead and order a cooling coil for your motor. You won't need a water jacket, your motor won't be taxed that much. If you have an LHS, just buy aluminum tubing and make it yourself.

The water jacket reduced my temps about 10-12 degrees from a coil, coils are not the best way to go if you can afford a jacket. However they are alot cheaper and you can make one as Jon has mentioned.

Steven sells these for only $16............ http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...ose-mjacket-XL

If you go with a coil, don't forget to tape one end and fill the tube with salt, then bend it around something with a smaller diameter like 1 inch PVC or go to your deep well socket drawer. LHS usually only stocks 1 foot lenghts and you will need 3 footers. Easy to do but getting the salt out is time consuming, Do not use air as the humidity is to high. Just keep rolling it back and forth and the salt will come out. Then slowly screw the coil on the motor to keep it as tight as possible.

I found that sand works a little better than salt because it doesn't dissolve and get all pasty. Follow this tutorial:
          http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/inf...sh-cooling.php

          and always double-check:
          http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/inf...tem-tester.php

I'd run the water to the cooling coil first, then the motor mount. Deciding whether to go to the esc or motor first should be decided after the first couple of runs by seeing which gets hotter. My guess will be the motor. They are descent, but the Chinese motors run a little warm in my experience.

Get me those dimensions for the extension and I'll mail it out to you as soon as I can.

was thinking about this jacket in the first place but i think i need the small one because the motor mount is going to be in the way..

jon would it be a good idea to just run a tee before the motor and esc? have one in let and tee off to the esc and motor then from the motor to the mount then out and just run another out for the esc?? that way they both get fresh cool water.. and the demensions will be up soon i need to take some time and just do it really but yeah it seems other things take me away from all the other stuff im doing..

The problem with that is the water would Always flow more in whichever path that has less resistance.

looking back over the pic you posted below, you wont be able to get much of anything over the motor................since you can only cool about half the can, a coil will not be a good idea.................go with the short jacket then............you need as much cool water in direct contact with the can as you can get............I just remembered you are not running a Feigao, the HK's run hotter. Here is a pic of your cooling area - not much:

if i use a coil i can still make one for the rear, and middle... i just thought that it would be better having direct contact with water useing the other jacket then a coil but eather dont matter not going to be running it too hard when it get out there but i will have my fun
