ok. i got the strudder mounted and the motor mount in. my blow torch is up north so i'll do the tube then. i'm going to put the servo mount in and get her painted up..

just the yellow and white will be painted. the decals have to wait till i get my own motor

no problem. the blues stuff is tape from the super glue process. it's all sanded down and painted now.

i'm waiting on my yellow to dry so i can shoot clear coat

well i got her running and she runs pretty darn good. very fast and stable in the straights. turning sucks but my wiehgt balance was way off so thats understandable.

i had one blow over but i was running full throttle into the wind. she rode her prop right before the blow.

what i don't understand is why the motor was getting so hot. i was running a fieago 14xl with a 42mm prop on 20cells with a water in a abs boat and she would barely pass the 5 second test. this boat doesn't shoot a rooster like my other boat. is the prop to deep? would that cause the overheating?

i love the look of this boat as it bounces over small boat wakes along the beach. it's cool look to see how real it looks and hear people ask "is it gas?"
