I was thinking about using the UL-1 motor,

but I have just had two motor given to me, one is a

turinigy 36-56-1800k with water jacket brand new

          the other is a Tenshock 15/30/8 3450kv with water jacket 1530 / 8 - Ri 0,0095; Max. 21V; Max. 85A

          would either work with 4s2p ? in a DF22

I cant work the motors kvs and props out totaly baffles me

          cheers

I'd use the turnigy on 5s, the tenshock is a bit high in Kv. More like a 3s motor.

Your looking for about 30,000 rpm unloaded.

Well after a long wait my Delta Force Vortex 22" has turned up
I have never ran a hydro before so I am looking for a bit of hydro advise on battery position and motors to use
from what I can gather the batteries sit in the front of the left and right sponsons?

motor choice I have available are

                etti B29 46500KV

                etti B29 49650kv

                tenshock 1530/8 3450kv

                Turnigy B36/56 1800kv

                ETTI 150 5 cell ESC x 1

ETI 150 5 cell ESC with extra caps x 1

Batters packs I have on hand

                etti 5400 2s x 2

                Rhino 3700 3s x 1

                Rhino 3700 2s x 1

I was looking at building the Vortex for insane fast straight power runs,
do you thing I can make use of the parts I already have, or can you advise a better set up
I need to buy a propeller and strut and rudder next so any advise greatly appreciated

The setup in this guys Vortex is crazy on the rpms almost 60,000rpm, and he is only seeing 66mph..
you could do almost anything with this setup beeing you are doing SAW runs..
I think a UL-1 motor on 5s would rip hard for SAW runs then you could go down to 4s for racing..

what speeds are you wanting out of this hull?

for SAW runs you can go way above 30,000rpm, specially on a small hull like this..
