    Hughey .150 C/R Flex
    Octura x447's cut to 45mm
    FlightPower 4s 5000mah 25c

Thats how I was thinking of doing my struts. I just don't see much of them setup with struts on a twin, usually stingers. Struts will give the most adjustment. Looks great.

BTW are those struts for Hydro or Mono?

          I haven't taken actual measurements but I believe it's 32 x 9.5 inches

So it's a little wider then the HOTR cat?

Dom: My hull is exactly 32.25 x 9.5 dimensions are different from the HOTR.

              George: They are mono brackets.

What exactly are the differences between the two?

Beam width, transom layout, sponsons do not have the twist like the HOTR, scale turbine exhaust cutouts, also details on the deck and hatch cover.

Is the fiberglass material the same than HOTR cat?

I don' t like those struts but this will work. Stinger is a best choice for twin motors

Actually I was asking about the struts mono/hydro but that info came in handy.

Better go do some more homework. Stingers may be a little prettier but struts allow for more adjustability. Looks are not everything, function is #1. Struts on cats are the new thing.

The struts will work much better for setting up even though the stingers are usually enough adjustment.

I am working on some outboard molds that will connect to the struts and look like big mercs hanging off the back. Just need to get them done. They will be vac formed and hook on to the strut. Could be pretty cool looking.

Some people like stingers, my preference is struts. I dont know why but I do like the way it looks. So I'm wierd. My family always asks if I'm from the same gene pool. At a resturant everyone else gets salad , I get soup???? What the hell sometimes it works to be different. Thats just me!

I think stingers and in particular the big powertrim types look cool for scale.
I eventually came round to the strut look after seeing Kevins first Konigsegg cat. That was my desktop wallpaper for a year.

Struts give more adjustment options and allow the prop to be set back even further if that is what you need. My singles are on struts that allow me to get the prop around 15% rear.

Different folk like different looks, that is cool too.
I like both but prefer the strut.
