Man I'm liking what i see. I cant believe how it split the water like that from a stand still! Looking good Randy. Have a question I finish the wiring and when i plug in the batteries there is a crazy ark that happens is this normal?

Yes it is the capacitors loading up. There is a way to stop it, but I never had the right parts.

The launch is great with a high power motor, not all motors will do that.

I run with out the Teflon liner to make a more bullet proof setup. This will heat up the stuffing tube, so I cool it to keep the epoxy from becoming soft ware it comes threw the hull.

How long would the Teflon last? Is this something that I should address ? This boat will never see any competition . I'll be happy for 50mph any day . My main goal is reliability. Thanks for the reply

It is not bad idea. to run a non Teflon setup with 1/4 shafts. What happens with the Teflon is it gets hot and fuses with the cable and stuffing tube. This will lock the drive line up and the flex will break. Then the boat is dead in the water with a possable leak to sink the boat or damage the Electronics. I build them for $40 bones.

Is this Proboat Hydro still running? Would love to see it all painted and hitting the water.

I changed the bottom a lot and going to do some other changes on the top. I have been building a new garage at home taking all my week end time so having a hard time getting back to this one.
