Centre of gravity of a 29" Cat???

    Hi guys

I'm in the process of building a 29" ebay cat and is not sure about the centre of gravity.

Can you guys tell me where should the centre of gravity be? Would it be about 30% like the monos?

    Thanks

I run one of these, easy adjustment of cofg,by moving packs in the sponsoms, try it at 33%.
Depends on water and wind conditions.
      They run well.

considering it looks like your running a sv27 motor i would try cog at between 28-30%

cat runs well, sometimes a bit of 'heavy' can be good thing.
Its since been converted to a 1600kv medusa 400g. motor on 6S packs.
My son runs it mostly and he hasnt flipped it yet.
here it is on a friendly Mono2 course agains an Evo fast mono.
Course not really long enough to gun the trigger but good fun.
Very stable crafts, even with a few waves.
The only thing we dont like is the shape of the hatch which makes it tricky to tape up at the front.

Very nice vid. I'm impressed by the Cat.

The cat look so stable compared to the mono which jumps right and left..... Must be the weight also I guess

Got any pictures of the inside?

                Cheers

Not really nice posting the 'now' pics.
last run on 6S burnt out the 180 Turnigy esc, real mess inside the hull,no other damage.
Just waiting for a new Etti 150 esc to arrive.been waiting awhile now,it appears to have been lost in the post
Dee from Etti is chasing it up.
I'll post some pics of the inside when it arrives.
