    32" Deep Vee

    Here is my new boat

The hull is from ebay, 580L (9) from OSE and ESC from Hobbywing.

The boat will be powered by a 6s lipo.

Hopefully i will be able to test it soon, but here in Norway it is around 32 farenheit rigth now

You may want to support the rear of the motor. It is a heavy can! Does the hull flex easily in the motor mount area? If so, you may want to reinforce the area with some fiberglass or cf. Let us know how that esc holds up on 6s.

Also, if you don't already have one, you may want to get another lipo. 6s2p will feed that setup more efficiently than a 1p setup. Plus your runtime will increase considerably. Good looking boat by the way!

        Thanks for the feedback.

I have reinforced the hull in the critical places.

The motor has a support spons under.

The 6s1p is from my T-rex 600 ESP, i have four of them and was hoping that i could use them.

Does enybody know what timing i should set for that motor on the ESC?

I have now tested the boat and the BEC stopped working after 1st. run I know i should have used a separat BEC, but the ESC were supposed to handle it?

I have now returned the ESC for a full refound and i am looking for a different ESC.

I think maybe a HV ESC is the way to go?

I would like to be able to run 8s in SAW runs.

But now i am confused about what ESC to go for?

            Any input is appreciated

BTW: amp draw was 98A and 2300Watts with prather 220 prop, speed 40mph.
Timing 0 (i think that is too low)

what propells do you suggest for my boat?

I am thinking of buying 4 propells.

I have never run a BL motor at 0 timing. I would at least go to the first step whatever the ESC says.

M645 or X645 detongued, X642. That what I run on my DF Storm. I would try ABC or Prather. I believe they are a higher pitch props than Octura's.

You will need to research ABC or Prather. I merely suggested them as I have heard that they are of higher pitch than Octura's. If I had knowledge of them they would be listed as the Octura's.

Basically having the tongue removed (rounding off the protruding part of the blade) at the leading edge. The tongue is the first thing that bites. This diagram shows what I am talking about.
