next summers project Aeromarine titan 29

Next summer i will build titan 29 so i have some questions.
What kind of esc+motor combo you recommend? i was thinking of feigao 8xl and himodel 200A esc is that good?? i`m using 4S lipo.

Is there copy hull of the titan 29?? and if is where can i order it??

The Titan 29 is a great hull for sport or racing. I'd power it with a UL-1 or BJ26 motor and expect speeds in the upper 30s. That hull catches a lot of air and runs high and fast. Or you could go with the Feiago and HiModel combo for higher speeds, shorter run times and perhaps lower reliability. It just depends on how fast you want to go and how long you want to run.

I know of no splash of the Titan 29 hull. I have problems supporting those who steal from the success of others.

I want to go FAST!!, what will be the proplem temps or just that the boat will be "too fast" and not very stable?
Would it be better choice to build Delta Force 29?

What type of "FAST" are you looking for???

        Racing "FAST"
        Fun run "FAST"

They are two different things. In racing,,,"FAST" does not always finish.

Both. The Titan gets pretty squirrely over 45 mph - adding weight helps but eventually it just won't stay on the water reliably.

The Feigao motor is not very efficient and at higher amp draws will get hot - water cooling only helps a little, the magnets will still get too hot over time and become damaged. I have no experience with that ESC. Heat buildup over time will be your chief enemy; for speeds in the upper 40s expect ~3-4 minutes run time tops depending on the air/water temperature and how you drive. The particular hull you select won't have much impact on run time as long as the hull is running cleanly.

upper 40s is enough but run time could be 10-15 minutes or something? is that possiple?

It depends on how you run. Lots of tight turns and acceleration heats things up fast, and for 15 minutes heat will build up. For about ten minutes you would probably want to go 6S - and limit yourself to mid-40s. Using higher voltage means a third fewer amps drawn for the same power, so less heat in the ESC and packs, and less battery capacity drained. I have no experience with 15 minute FE boats. Regardless, a lot depends on how you drive. It might be better to use two sets of 4S packs and run 5-6 minutes on each pack with a break in between.....

Ok, so that xl8+ 200a himodel combo is good for 5 minute run times?

What size that UL-1 motor is? 540??

It depends on how you prop it and how youi drive it. If you expect 50 mph with a Titan 20 on 4S you will be drawing over 100 amps. If you have 5000 mAh cells (you only want to discharge them 4000 mAh) you will have under 2.5 minutes of run time at full throttle. You will also have a warm-to-hot motor and ESC. If 40 mph is good enough then you'll be drawing around 50 amps and have around 5 minutes run time, again depending on how you drive. You can parallel your packs for 10,000 mAh and get around 10 minutes.

With the UL-1 or BJ26 motor/ESC you can get mid-30 mph with ~40 amps drawn and low heat buildup. Run time with 5000 mAh cells should be around 8 to ten minutes.

These smaller motors are roughly 540 sized. They are an amazing deal IMO, propelling some of our club members LSH boats to over 50 mph in oval race trim.

I think i use that UL-1 after all, so the combo will be himodel 200a+UL-1. Thank you very much for very good advice I am finnish so my english might be a bit bad
