I wondered if the support is thru the hull and fixed on the inside or what. I would think just an outside bracket so there is no slice in the hull, most I have seen only have the sahft and it is epoxied in and does not move.

I like straight shaft set ups. Less resistance than any other drive systems out there and you can have bearings at each end of the stuffing tube very easily.

I have a non-flood-chambered Triton that I run with modified speedmaster stuff and it is a VERY competitive P-mono.
I picked up mine used and got a decent deal on it. The Toysport stuff is spendy, but unique and fast. I also have a Triton w/ flood chamber that is un-touched, and in a box in the garage for my dream build someday. I got that for a good deal from Andrew @ FastElectrics in AUS a few years ago when he was having a sale.
It came with the Toysport hardware, but I decided to go with SpeedMaster instead.
Westbeach - I believe the strut can be made adjustable with the Toysport hardware, it's a different way of thinking, with the slit through the hull and all, but I'm pretty sure it does allow for some tilt if needed.
These hulls have a ride pad (at least the Triton does) and I run the drive parallel to the ride pad...solid @ 60+.

        Ctonez,

Do you mind posting some pics of your Triton, please? Curious to know what your setup is? Might have to put it on my wish list, with all the positive feedback on this hull.

Here's what it looked like at the beginning of it's life as my Pmono: http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...ead.php?t=2066

It's seen a few race incidents and slight modifications in the last 2 years, but is essentially the same. I can post/send interior pics if you want, but the motor is pretty far forward...dunno if I'd do it that way next time.
          currently has a Neu 1521 1.5D
          2 x 30c 4500mah 4S packs
          Barracuda 125 ESC

          please excuse any percieved hijacking.

From what I have seen all the toysport hulls have a excellent build quality, they are slightly expensive (euro currency is strong at the moment) but they are quality and undoubtably one would be happy with any hull purchased.

i have my eyes on a "Joker Race" which has tempted me for a little while but thus far i have resisted. for a look at all the boats available here is the link:
