new 40 inch mono with twins

been wanting to run a largish mono for choppy water for a while so i thought i would drag out a hull a mate gave me a few years ago. i have also been bitten by the 'twin bug' after reading all the threads on here with guys running twins.
    my plans are as follows.
    40 inch mono (origin unknown)
    twin hobby king 6xl
    twin 4s
    twin seaking 200amp esc's
. if any one can help with origin of the hull please chime in.
also on placement of the stinger drives, should they be as close together as possible. and on rudder choice, should it be in the centre directly behind the props or maybe twins.
    thanks in advance

    6XL on 4s ?
That's sounds like high revs, small props to me.
    On a 40 inch mono ?
    Good luck !!!!!

a 40" mono would need at least a single 580L with low KV that comply with 6S minimum, 8S would be even better, if you want to go for twins, you will use smaller motor, IMO it will be difficult to go for appropriate voltage/KV that can spin large enough prop for such a hull.
some of the major issue I see in such a setup are :
      - prop distance will limitate prop diameter choice
      - counter rotating prop is a plus but you will also be limited in choice
      - one prop will be out of the water in turns causing thrust loss

The RTR Nightmare- Electric King of Shaves
        Now with 540s- 62mph
New setup- Etti 150A's, Turnigy 2600s, 5S, X442s and a whole lot of cooling hoses
