Well I ordered a White hull this morning online right from Aeromarine. I really wanted a yellow hull but I figure I will have to mod the hatch and paint it anyway...would probably be hard matching the gelcoat color. Any idea how long it takes to get a hull directly from them? Also do they send you any tracking info?

I have always had to call Remy and get the shipping info... I have always received my hulls from AM within 7-10 days..

Hey Rich did you get any more testing in with your 24.160 and the 1527 1Y motor on 6s?

It is 24.150 and no not yet,,, still waiting on the USB-adapt-uni from Icare.. I want to be able to adjust timming before running it again..

Jay T, has the older version, 32.170,, he can set timming through switches on the esc board.. On the newer versions it is done only through USB.. Jay had an overheating problem with his SC40 1y setup in the race here in Dallas at the same time I had my issues.. He has fixed his issue with a timming change.. I am hoping mine will do the same..

I have been working really hard finishing up the Whip20.. Just waiting on the 1515/1y and Strut,, they are on their way from OSE!! Should have them by tuesday..

Have you tried the 1y in your SS45 yet??

Nope I don't have a ESC yet. The way it looks Castle won't have my 240HV to me for a while. My 1527 1.5D should be back from Neu tomorrow. I sent it in just to make sure there was nothing wrong with it. I may put it back in the SS45 and save the 1Y for the Sprintcat.

I have been looking into the 24.150 and I am a little confused. They say on their website that the WK series don't have any USB port. I want to order one for the sprintcat but I want to be able to program it.

I have one sitting here (24.150WK) and it has USB input,, it is called (usb-adapt-uni) I got mine for $40 shipped from icare,, still waiting.. Should be here anyday now..

I am willing to bet that with the timming adjustment and 1y motor, the 24.150 will be a wonderful esc.. I know all my 40.160wk's both older and new version are the best esc's "hands down" that I have used...

I got my hull in this morning at work and took a quick look at it. I am not sure my large 6s lipo's are going to fit in the rear, center under the hatch. I will measure them when I get home, If they don't fit I may go 5s on the 1527 1.5D motor instead of 6s on the 1527 1Y motor. Math wise they appear to be about the same RPM or pretty close. Any thought's on 5s with the 1527 1.5D?

the 6s will fit if you have the turbo hatch ...mine did...mine are 1 7/8" square and they fit

Well my G3 cells are high and hit the hatch. If I lay them on their side they will fit so I will either lay them down or run 5s. If I run 5s I might be able to get away with a Hydra 240LV....still not sure I would trust that controller on 5s though.

You should not have a problem with 5s as long as you disable the bec and run a rx pack. I have run 6s on my 240LV with no problems. I know, I know ....... its hit and miss.

I run mine laying on their sides no problem. You will eventually want the extra 20% power from the 6S packs. Trust me on this.

Yeah I figured the 6s packs were the way to go, I was just trying to justify using my 1.5D motor on 5s and a Low voltage Hydra ESC but it looks like a 1Y on 6s will be better with a Shulze 24.150 ESC.
Jay I see that you are using trim tabs on your Sprint, is that something I should do on my hull?

I put the trim tabs on for the LA SAWs last year, they really help keep the cat on the water at over 80 mph. I don't run them on my oval setup - they do nothing at "low" speed.
