      Mike,
Got whip yesterday. Great packaging glad you shipped it Fedex. Wow what an awesome job! Pics don’t do boat justice, can’t wait to get hardware mounted and run. Ray R. how about some set up tips whats a good starting depth for strut and where is CG at.

The instructions say to... "Set the strut to 2 degrees negative and 1” from the bottom of the boat."

Raydee recommends a CG at 1" behind sponsons.

          Mike,

Please contact me immediately upon your completion of a new cowl for the Whip.

Hugh, my set-up is drastically different than what Brian Blazer suggests, so I sent you a PM.

Ray, I will defiantely keep you updated on the cowling. My problem right now is I need to purchase a kit, But I have 3 FE tunnel conversions I am working on for myself. A sniper, vision 20, and a leecraft. If I could find someone that wanted me to build a whiplash, they could pay me by purchasing me a whip kit as payment. Not a bad deal if I say so myself! Anyways, thanks Hugh for giving me the opportunity with your whip.. It was my first one! Mike

Cybercrxt, You got yourself a deal. Where should I have the whip kits sent?
I'll want the same options as Hugh to make it easier for you.

Sailr, sounds good. I will reply to your PM in a minute with shipping info. Ok, so Hugh, and Ray will need one of the cowls once I get them designed and a mold made. They will be epoxy glad for anyone wondering, and will be a built to fit the whip Prototype style cowling. Sailr, the build for a kit deal will only be for the boat like I built Hugh, once the new style cowling is designed, and I can come up with a fair price, I will let you know, and you can be on the list, or if you like Hughs current setup, you will need a vac u pickle cowling. I will also need you to send the turn fin you want to use with the kit so that I can install the blind nuts correctly. Thanks, Mike

Oh, Obrien, I am in the Greenville, NC area 27858. Where are you?
