Delta Force 33

I consider buying the DF 33 hull, but I'm not sure about motor. I think maybe the 580 6L or 7L will work on 6S or 8S? Or will this be overkill? Anyone running a similar setup?

I would go with a nice 5s setup, thats just me. Maybe a 9-10XL. HYDRA240

Maybe I need to be more specific, I wish for a speed in the 55-60 mph range, and I assumed that a 580 L on 6-8S would give me a running time and heat I could live with. My guess is that an XL motor would be enough in a 29" hull, and KB or 580 L would be great for the 33" hull.

I know that some of the Norwegians who consider racing the 25" hull in the mono2 class is running 8XL on 4S, and the speed is close to 60 mph.

DF 33" with a 580/8L on 6S should be a good combo for you.
