How to avoid "Sparks" when plug in lipo batt?

I'm using the 4mm gold plugs for 6S2P 5000mAh parallel set up. I'm getting sparks on the red + side connector of the lipo when plugging to the esc. Is there a way to prevent the sparks from happening ? Should i change to larger 5mm or 6mm gold connectors? BTW, The Turnigy lipos came preinstalled with 4mm gold connectors from Hobby King.

you are gonna get arcing no matter what you change em to. I wouldn't worry about it. Just try to plug em in as quick as you can to minimize the arc.

plug in the + side first. and then the - so that you are dealing with the ground side of things.

You can just use small bullet connectors or a Deans plug, etc. There is no specific AUX plug.
