    Motors & speed controllers

I have a home build 4? long fishing yacht with 1? 4 bladed props. I?m trying to figure out what motors to install to make this not a fast boat but a cruising speed boat. Double motors with speed controllers.IMG_1380.jpg

Cool build. Are you going to run surface drives or fully submersed props (under the hull)?

Thank you for the reply. Under the hull. I have 5mm shafts running thru the hull with 1in props on them. I worry about motors I can run at low speed and med speed. It’s to be a fishing boat not a speed boat.

Use a couple of 550 or 600 brushed motors.

Thank you for the reply Peter A! I hadn’t heard from anyone so I went with 775’s. At 12v it delivers 12,000 rpm’s. That I hope won’t caveat the props.
