I do have a long term Steam boat project but only have the hull witch was a ebay bargin & twin cylinder double acting oscillating from ebay again a bargin due to it needing a pipe on the reversing valve replaced

i know you said long term i suppose you want to finish the Maersk first.
that is a nice hull, what type kit is it? or scratch build?

nah the Steam boat is shelved atm too much going on with life & boat club, the hull is fibre glass that i picked up from ebay no idea on who's made it but its old and very nice. its going to be sort of a put parts together build as i have to find a boiler, gas tank, & burner to fit the engine & hull plus all model boilers have to be pressure tested every year even under 3 bar ltr in the Uk as they have just changed the rules
