Nice!, i built a dollar store airboat recently from left over stuff i had around.
also with your solder.. as long as you use proper electronic solder you will be fine. However that being said. those 4MM plugs your using actually have MORE resistance then the small 3.5MM plugs, the 4MM's are the worst plugs! -

Did you have shrink wrap on them before they became desolder ?
I use 5.5 on everything but my hk bolt that has deans on it.
Add I really do not like the deans, They are a PITA to solder for me.

The plugs were the weakest link. I had switched from a 645 prop to a 645 with a wider blade when they melted. I did have shrink wrap on them, it was all that was holding them together. Ended up replacing with the over rated cstl cause I had them.Nice!, i built a dollar store airboat recently from left over stuff i had around.
